Stay in the know

We aim to be the best curated guide to East (mid and a bit of West) Sussex. Ocasionally, we will also branch out into local journalism and bring you exclusives and human interest stories that matter.

We will regularly bring you :

  • A selection of curated news from local and national media — political, environmental, offbeat, anything goes

  • The best in food and drink

  • A what’s on guide, history and humour

  • The best houses for sale, profiling local businesses, occasional jobs and marketplace

  • Secret walks, pubs you didn’t know about from Brighton to Barcombe

  • The best places and Sussex spots you need to know about

Written by experienced national newspaper journalists, The Social (Sussex) is the newsletter you need in your inbox.

Its beginnings started when we discovered Southern Rail was useful for opening a beer bottle without an opener.

The Social is fortnightly for now and published on Sundays.

There will be a paywall installed when we publish exclusives or stories outside of our guides, while some posts will be free before the paywall kicks in.
